@SGH,Cool. I saw your land leveling toy post and JD in another.I hear ya about the hands. Old co-worker previously worked the kill line at the local IBP beef plant. He had scars on his back from getting sliced by others accidentally. His hands/fingers, would lock up on occasion. Hard ass work.BrandonQuad Cities

Mickey said:The First Rule of Big Green Eggdom is NO Stuffed Tenderloin will be cooked with-out BACON! I am sorry buddy but it is my duty to call @henapple. He is not going to be happy.
It's stuffed with bacon my friend. Does that count?Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

I am sorry but the rule is very clear on this. Bacon will cover the outside of said stuffed tenderlion. I don't write the rules (henapple does this).Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -
Tying up a roast is pretty quick if you loop it each time instead of knotting it. Does the Pecan split platter do anything else besides making for a sweet picture?Dunedin, FL
-
@yzzi
Yes sir, it does. That's a semi green pecan split. Because it's green it will not catch fire at 375 degrees. But the vapor (not smoke) it gives off has a almost true pecan taste as opposed to burning it. A word of caution, all the experts say that this is unhealthy and should be avoided. I actually wasn't going to post the pic of it sitting on the wood for this reason. Force of habit though. I recommend not doing it my friend. However the taste is incredible.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Looks great but like @Mickey said, cardinal sin without bacon. I would still eat it and the tie job looks fine.

@Jeremiah- I myself do not think that it is unhealthy. But you have heard the argument a million times about wood having to be properly seasoned to avoid resin, sap or whatever other term they throw out there. I have done it my whole life. That said, I would feel bad if someone copied something that they saw me do and then had some sort of ill affect. So for that reason I recommend that folks avoid doing it.
