    I'm cooking "Pork in a Bag"...[p]Make or buy your favorite marinade (16 oz). Inject (1/2 of marinade) and sear a pork roast at 450-500 for 15 minutes, rolling so as not to char the meat. [p]Cut up 2 Fuji Apples, 5 potatoes, 2 handfuls of baby cut carrots and 2 pieces of celery. Add all above into an Aluminum Foil baking bag and add the balance of the remaining of marinade along with the pork roast after being seared.[p]Roll top of foil bag and adjust vents to set BGE to 350 with inverted plate setter for indirect. Cook for about 2 hours.[p]Our dinner table reservations are for 5:40pm this afternoon.[p]Banker John

    Three simple recipes. First - buffalo wings (Half w/ dizzy dust coarse the other half with Dr. BBQ's crank it up pepper rub and then smothered in Franks hot wing sauce and then Dr. BBQ's secret ingredient. Second - Venison saugage and third - burgers. Yum!

    One week until Chinese New Year and I'm woking all week. Today was veg stir fry with hoisin sauce. Built a wok lava bucket for the egg, my latest egg accessory. Hot, hot, hot.

    Ohh man I'm full!! How about a little Prime Rib, spinach, carrots. and grilled corn. Had the corn under the prime rib for awhile to collects the juice, dang!.[p]I'm hurting and going to bed!!

    7.5 lb pork butt today. only took 13 hrs with the guru's help. Served with corn and black beans/rice. Great bark from Dr BBQ's big time rub! Sorry no pics today.
