My lump haul

Was going to post this a couple days ago but my brother who lives in Colorado came down and to say we had too much to drink would be the understatement of the decade. I am hopefully nearing the end of a two day hangover and can now hold my head up long enough to post. On Monday the Henapple Express was in Alabama so he gave me a call and I met up with him and ate some breakfast and grabbed some lump. @Henapple is a good dude folks. Thanks again Tony I really appreciate it.

I can't seem to find this lump anywhere in Missouri and it's made in northern Arkansas

Just picked this up today for a test run, This community really seems to like this brand.

@Tspud1 - where are you in MO? I have bought it in Mexico, MO several times. If nothing else Google the co and then call them for dealer locations.

That's because MO is Rockwood country........well, St. Louis at least. In all of my years, I have only seen it in a few places around STL. I'm kind of surprised it's not in more places, because it is good charcoal. I see it out on the competition circuit sometimes. We're the home town favorite, so that has a lot to do with it.

RRP, I checked in Mexico, Mo at the local stores and it is not there anymore. The grocery store has changed hands and is no longer Hickmans, brother in law lives there and he checked there and in Columbia, MO as well.
StLcharcoal, I called a few ceramic cooker dealers in Stl and they don't carry it either. I did have in laws pick me up a couple of bags of Rockwood in Edwardsville. It was cheaper there than in St. Charles. Hope to try some soon.

@tspud1 - I cleaned out the Harp's grocery in Joplin a couple weeks ago as we were passing through. I also located some in Springfield, but not as cheap as the Harp's price.
