Saw this today. Looks like it works via bluetooth with your phone or tablet and has been expanded to 4 probes. I have a 733 I purchased a few months back but thought others might be in the market.

So I can give up 300' range for the novelty of keeping my phone in 30' blue tooth range? Maybe I'm missing something.

I want a 733 only so I can monitor grill temp when I'm doing higher temps, like spatch or steaks. Currently, my Weber only goes up to UNDER 400 degrees F.

If the range is reduced that much by Bluetooth then that is a drawback.

Most Bluetooth Radios on phones only have a range of less than 50' in ideal conditions....

I got mine this summer, and I've been using my 733 to just to watch grill temps, without monitoring food, pretty regularly. After starting the fire, I'll load in the accessories and set the dampers where I think they should be, then I can be inside prepping or whatever and watch it come to temp, without overshooting. And once it's loaded with food and locked in at a temp, I'll set the upper and lower alarm range and know if it's drifting, on a long cook.Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle -
Not that I've done many; but I stopped using my 732 for low n slows... I just go off the dome and once it's close, check with the Thermapen. The egg hasn't let me down yet

I have a 733, and I love it, but I wish it could accept 4 probes. That would be nice!

I have the 733 and it works great... This improves on the idea with 4 probes and the phone app of course. Hope it works as good...

I have an igrill it's Bluetooth . Cons as listed above , limited range(distance) and limited temp. I do enjoy it for low and slow but I ordered a 733 for the longer distance and higher temp. Excited for it to arrive. Bluetooth is nice but limited - just my opinion-Todd

I've only had the 733 for a few days, but have used 3-4 times(like right now) and really like it, except you have to remember to turn on the alarms, don't ask me how I know. I haven't had the need for 4 probes, but could see where that would be handy especially with 2 eggs. But to me blue tooth is a step back with limited range.
