We were shopping for a spa for my wife with her back issues (I do enjoy a tub with a tottie on the side) and settled on one from a local spa store. Come to find out they sold BGEs also. Well we ordered the spa and it was 4-5 weeks out. I was in the market for a Treager but wasn't sold on their ability for high heat cooking. I was really intrigued by the BGE so my bride said with this long contract you've been doing you deserve an Egg too.
So I called them that afternoon and order the Egg which I got a few weeks ago and the spa showed up yesterday. A filet for her and ribeye for me on the egg tonight and then a tub (sorry no pick of that, Halloween's over and that would be scarrrry).
These are our Christmas and sure can't complain. I do love this Egg. I'll ask Santa for a Thermopen.

Nice to see the level of the tub would allow flipping burgers/steaks on the Egg without much movement at all; w0ot!

@logchief yep. But, it's Eddie Murphy doing James Brown on SNL many, many, many years ago. Back when he was on the show and did Gumby, Buckwheat, Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood etc. Funny stuff. I miss the 70s, 80s & 90s although some of the new skits are funny.

You mean Buttwheat, Eddie Murphy was a scream. His first stand up VHS tape "Delirious" was incredible. The original SNL gang cannot be replaced.NPHuskerFL said:@logchief yep.
