    I think you should be able to get it replaced under warranty. You've had it for over two years, and you do a clean burn/ high heat cook and open the dome and it pops out of the band. You didn't drop it.

    I agree whole heartedly. It should be covered. Not saying that it is but that it should be. Why? In their own advertisement is says "capable of cooking low and slow and over 700 degrees". It doesn't mention having to tighten bands for each individual cook. Just my thoughts my friend. I would file a claim. The worse that can happen is they deny it. Good luck what ever route you chose. I really feel that if you contact the mother ship that they will replace it. The few dealings that I have had with them ended in my favor every time. They seem to really care about customer satisfaction, or that's been my experience when dealing with them.

    I am going to try and get it replaced under the warranty for sure. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
