    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd.

    Brats and burgers are done...it makes my heart happy to hear my boys' "Mom...this is seriously delicious!" To me, it's just burgers and brats, but if they like it, mama's heart is happy. :)

    Chicken is on now, for protein to use throughout the week. Spatchcocking using the wonderful herb mix my Elf @SWVABeanCounter‌ sent me. Can't wait to see how it turns out....thanks again, my wonderful Elf. :)

    Great job Sandy, one of the best things about the Egg is it keeps the kids around the house even when they get older. Their friends always want to hang around especially on the weekends as they know there will be good food.     Oh, I do hope that will be the case for me! My oldest is in sixth and next year will be going to middle school...he's always gone to the elementary school at which I teach, so I am already prepping for the adjustment. I really want to be "that mom"...the one whose kids and their friends feel comfortable being around and can talk freely with, while still keeping the "I'm the adult, you are the child" relationship as well. If food is one way to keep those relationships going...then egg on!

    @SGH‌ As always, you are too kind, my friend. Thank you. I am really hoping that the universe aligns and I get to Salado. (If you told ANYONE who knows me I was actually looking forward to returning to Texas of my own free will...let's just say there would be much doubt. :) ) I do look forward to meeting you sir, as the only thing that seems to exceed your appetite is your heart and generous spirit. :)
