Hope it wasn't "Hot" at that point...I use a deep C-clamp to move my hot place-setter now, but I always keep leather gloves nearby just in case it breaks and scatters on my deck.___________

How'd it happen? I dropped a hot one before after it burned my hand through a welding glove. But you sell those BGCraig PS lifters, so I'm thinking it must've been while on the egg? Warranty should cover it if so. I doubt it was a faulty BGCraig PS lifter.

I've used a woo all summer and often remove or add the PSetter during cooks.
You'd have to be either extremely unlucky or a complete klutz to drop your PS using a woo.
