I got some Grill Grates for my BGE and tried them with some steaks this weekend. They really worked well. Has anyone else done this? How did you like them?

I've got a set for both the XL and Med Eggs. I like the fact that there is zero flare ups, even with the dome left open.

Those look awesome. Can you tell me the website where I might be able to purchase this fine product?

I have a set for my large and love them!

Once again speak without knowing what the hell you are talking about. GrillGrates have been around a lot longer than Mangrates. If you want a cheap laugh at least have your facts straight. -

I have the grillgrates for my Large Egg and my gasser. Then also help even out the temp.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

Your absolutely right @EggerinLA I didn't know this. But, wasn't for a cheap laugh and wasn't aiming at Mangrates. I would say the BGE CI grid gives the same effect.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Grillgrates are a good product. Better marks than a CI grid...IMO.Mangrates are similiar, but made out of cast iron.

I've read comments before about mangrates on here and was always wondering what the eff people were talking about, of course, for some strange reason my mind was thinking of mandrakes.
