@SGH  Every single day I say "I can't believe I live here"  it's a dream come true. I love my property. You and I need to spend some time on it!!   I'll be out of town the next 3 weekends, but after that we need to get together and do that pig. I still haven't found one small enough yet, but should soon!

Or we can plan for a weekend night. which I'm free most of the time.

  • @Yzzi  I love the small! It holds temp so easily I can set the vents after lighting and just walk away and nail the temp every time.  I can cook 6-7 burgers on a single grid so it really gets a lot of use. I only light up the XL on weekends now.

@Thatgrimguy‌ Brother I can get you a pig any size that you want. From a removed fetus all the way up to 275 pounds. Just tell me when and what size.

  • @Thatgrimguy do you have a high-que or some other after market fire grate? That is my only hangup so far with my small (had it about 2 months) is that I can't get as hot as I like for steaks. Other than that it is a champ! So as of now, I still go to the Large for steaks.

Yes, I use the high que grate. And I make sure to keep the firebox clean as possible with the ash tool.  Everyone couple a weeks I pull the firebox and ring out to clean it completely. I use it 3-4 times a week though.

    I use rockwood lump.
