  • Damn man, that was almost as high quality on the grill as Ameer has been producing on the field.  Nicely Done!!

Great looking cook. Pretty ballsy wearing a white jersey while cutting up that briskey. You must have know it wasn't going to be very juicy =))

Nice job on the brisket, and the video. Love the picture of the tent and all the smoke. Just curious, did you use about 5 pieces of oak for smoke?

@Dobie‌ thanks bro! Game face ;-)
@saluki2007‌ thanks man! Yep I definitely got brisket juices on my Nebraska jersey. And the next day got some of the sticky lollipop marinade on my Denver AFC Champs shirt. No worries already laundered B-)
@smokesniffer‌ Thank you. I stagger the wood chunks from the bottom to top throughout the lump. I believe there were 10 chunks of oak in total.

Brother Husker! Nice job. If Bo puts a game plan together like you put a meal together, they'll do just fine vs. the Spartans.

@NPHuskerFL‌ Brother Husker. Where do I even begin? Let me say absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Excellent cook and great documentation as well my friend. The grub looks spot on to me. On top of being a all around superb cook, I'm really impressed with the eating with your hands. This is my preferred method when the wife is not looking. For all around greatness, and eating with you hands, I gladly and proudly present this cook with the: image

I think I saw Party Monster lurking in the background in a few of your pictures.  If you're a little light on booze, beer or recreational drugs, that would explain it.  PARTY ON!

  • Glad you enjoyed it, and it looks terrific.  Too bad Denver wasn't playing Seattle again...
Thanks. It was one hellava game last time. Ya never know we may have the battle again. It's a long season ahead.
I'm looking forward to it :)

  • Let's hope if they meet in the  Super Bowl, it's more like last game, instead of last February's game.  As much as I enjoyed Seattle's domination, I would have liked a better game... like last week.  Love the brisket pics too!  Keep em coming!

The Party Monster is my oldest son. SGH JR. Here he is high, drunk, sun burned and passed out with a mouthful of tobacco. When it comes to drugs and alcohol he has no stop button. Hence the-Party Monster moniker.

@SGH‌ ok now I understand sort of....where would or why would "Party Monster be lurking in my shots?" Nobody getting high at Mi Casa....sunburnt and buzzed on booze maybe. Mainly enjoying the company of friends and some cocktails and egging like a madman :))

I think brother Nola was making a joke or being phocecious if you will about the lurking of the Party Monster. But him being a Party Monster is not a joke at all.

The problem with party monster is, he don't like to party. He lives to party. ;)

I'd love to do something but two soccer games followed by a Birthday party mean not a lot of time.  Maybe some pork tenderloin to bring to aforementioned bday party....
