just another boring, BUT GREAT! spare ribs post

See? I tried to apologize up front that this might be a boring post! LOL

Since my wife never eats ribs - long story - I always cut my spares in half since I am only egging one rack and by being cut in half I have better control of their outcome. These went 320 indirect for 2 hours with flip and 180 turn at the 1 hour mark. DP Raging River plus coarse kosher salt were on the meat, no mustard and NO foil! Sauced with 50/50 Blue's Hog cut with Blue's Tenn Red to bash that sweetness!
These ribs rocked!!! boring picture or not! LOL

Wow Ron,
I just gorged on brisket but that is making my mouth water. If they taste half as good as they look, there would be no left-overs from me.

Nothing boring here my friend. In fact far from it. The ribs look like a winner to me. The only complaint that I have is you said that you only eat a half of a rack. This is border line nibbling sir. Short of that, excellent cook my friend. Solid all around. Consumption level-Needs improving my friend

They are gorgeous! I too have to down-size and cut them in half, but at no more than 2 hours of cooking can do it OFTEN. Even the leftovers are delish.Judy in San Diego

Thanks EVERYBODY! All I was trying to get across was let's don't be afraid to post pictures and crow about our BGE cooks that knock our own socks off - even if they bore some people who then get vocal. Hey...I have even post some that look sloppy, but we loved them!cook861 said:Great ribs if those are boring i hate to see what gets you excitedRe-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
