Mountain picnic (pics heavy)

Fun trip to the mountains today. It was a little chilly, but the dogs loved it and my wife found a few fossils. Such a perfect day for a soup picnic. I made some chicken stock with a backbone and left over carcass from a spatchcock the other day. Tossed some ramen noodles into a thermos and added the homemade chicken stock. Yum.
The mini-max(if it existed) would of made a perfect picnic even better. Oh well, maybe someday. Here's some pics.

Australian Shepherd's. Pretty active breed. We let them run in front of the truck for several miles today. It's so nice when they're tired out.Steven

I concur. I'd give up palm trees almost any day for mountains.DMW said:To be able to just "go for a hike" and have views like that, you win. Everything. Every day.
