Nice score. I don't need another egg, but I would probably have done the same.They/Them

Nice score.
Just curious, does the lifetime warranty follow the egg or is it only for the original owner?

Congrats on the great find. The mini will become your Go To egg real quick, very versatile and fast to get to temp. and burns less lump. I have a LBGE and a Mini and I use my Mini most of the time unless I have company over...The Gator Nation, Central FloridaLARGE & MINI Life is good...GO GATORS!!!

Ahhh, that's good to know. Thanks. I was pointing some friends to some Craigslist adds recently, but for the price of a used BGE you can get a new KJ or other knockoff. So, if the warranty doesn't follow they may do better buying a knockoff new then a BGE used. $.02R2Egg2Q said:Congrats on the Mini! @KiterTodd - Egg warranties are only for the original owner.

Killer deal! You'll love it. Buy a Woo and Lodge griddle and you're set. If you cook pizza, buy the Amazon 8.5 inch pizza stones.
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

i got one from CL for $100 .. but it was a much older style and after replacing the stand and the cooking grid, I think I probably spent $160 on it and I still have the old one sided hinge band. Congratulations on your mini and you will enjoy it a lot like I did.If you want accessories, heer is a list that @R2Egg2Q had posted before:Here's a list of the customary accessories for the Mini:
Mini Woo (http://shop.ceramicgrillstore.com/mini-10-woo-ring/)
Old Stone Oven Pizza Stones (http://www.amazon.com/Old-Stone-Oven-4444-Stones/dp/B0000E1FDC)
Lodge CI griddle #L70GH3 (http://www.missionrs.com/L70GH3.html orhttp://www.wasserstrom.com/restaurant-supplies-equipment/Product_309165)
10" Carbon Steel Wok (http://www.wokshop.com/store/detail.php?show=64)
BGE has a cast iron grid (part# 10CI) that isn't shown on the BGE site and now offers a plate setter (part# PST).
The Egg Carten is pretty popular (http://eggcarten.blogspot.com/p/features-of-mini-egg-carten.html)
I use one of these MSR Alpine Plates as a drip pan (http://www.amazon.com/MSR-321104-Alpine-Plate/dp/B000FBSZGA)
High-Que grate is another option if you find your Mini needs a little better airflow. http://www.high-que.com/Stainless-High-Heat-Charcoal-Fire-Grate-Upgrade-for-Small-Mini-Big-Green-Egg-Grill_p_21.htmlLBGE & MiniOrlando, FL -
Nice...there's one in my neck of the woods on CL for $250.00
For that price, I'll wait for the MiniMax..
If they were offering it at what you paid, I'd probably bite
