Wok friends I need you assistance!
I am having trouble getting my wok to work out the way I know it should!
I was looking on youtube for wok videos on the BGE but only see a few. I know there are more out there but thats all I can find when I type in wok BGE.
Has anybody else watched some good informational wok videos on Youtube using the BGE?
Cooking on a XL BGE from Allendale, Mi.

Not sure if you have seen this one, Village Idiot was a regular here and many considered him King of the Wok - If you are going to use your egg to wok, he is a great source of info.Trouble with the egg for wok use is being able to change temp quickly and to get a cool spot up the sides. It uses lump like crazy. Many here use a propane burner to wok with, I know it does not use our beloved egg - but it is far more practical.Also the poster above Richard in FL is a great source.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

I miss @Village_Idiot. He was a hell of a cook, photographer, and teacher.
When I used to wok a lot the biggest thing was getting the wok hot before putting the oil then food in. A few times the food stuck. Seasoning the wok is an important step too. I always keep the bottom vent wide openColumbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013 -
