I am back in the saddle looking for the best temperature controller for my XL BGE I would like it to be WIFI and have an app for the phone if possible I have looked at the Cyber Q and the Stoker and other than flipping a coin I am not sure what direction to go. If anyone would share the pros and cons of what they are using I would appreciate it greatly. Also, are they simply a waste of money. I have not ventured too deep into long cooks such a Butts and Brisket but Fall is coming and will be soon. Any help would be appreciated.
Good Cooking this weekend and THANKS IN ADVANCE

I love my CyberQ and its a must for long cooks. Stoker is a great unit as well and I don't think you can go wrong between the two.Jacksonville FL

@NPHuskerFL uses a stoker. He seems to have a lot of knowledge on the subject, maybe he'll chime in.Steven

I had a stoker and loved it. I sold it. I quit using it since I been doing briskets, ribs and butts at higher temps. I see no need to hook up. My packer briskets only take 5 or 6 hours and temps stay at 300 easy.
It's worth it if your going to do over night cooks.

Try to learn how to do it with the included controls; the top and bottom vents...
Learning how to dial in a temp and keep it there will make you a better overall egger as well as ensure that should you have an equipment failure; your butts and briskets will continue to happily cook on, blissfully unaware.MSV Chill Spot

I sold my Cyber Q and gave away my Party Q. I say they are not needed.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

One advantage of the stoker is that it allows you to control multiple pits at one time.I know all the rules, but the rules do not know me.

I concur w/ @hapster I strongly believe learning how to control pit temp manually is necessary and helps one become a better all round egger. Don't misunderstand I love the Stoker. But, I bought it well after I was able to control my pit temp w/out it. It's a good solid piece of mind on a long L&S.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
