Crab Stuffed Portabellos

Wow!! My first time for these babies !!!!!! Awesome !! Covered with a slice of onion and then smoked provolone. Had leftovers again for lunch today.

    Brother that is a excellent combination. Mushrooms, cheese and crab. It doesn't get much better than that. Excellent cook and thanks for sharing my friend.

    @HENAPPLE and others ......


    4 - portabello Mushrooms
    4 - slices smoked provolone cheese
    4 slices - purple onion
    1+c - flaked crab meat
    1/4c - olive oil
    1 tsp - minced garlic
    4 tbsp - steak seasoning (Grill Mates, etc)
    1/2c - finely chopped bell pepper
    1/2c - finely chopped onion
    1 jar - Delallo Roaster Peppers
    1/8c - Dales Marinade sauce
    1/8c - Low-sodium Soy sauce
    1/8c - worstershire sauce
    1 tblsp - onion powder
    1 tblsp - garlic powder

    Mix Olive oil (except 2 tblsp) with onion powder, garlic powder, wooster sauce, soy sauce, Dales sauce, steak seasoning, Heat skillet with 2 tblsp olive oil
    Mix chopped onion, chopped peppers, minced garlic, roasted peppers and saute in skillet.
    Add crab meat to sauted mixture in skillet and continue to heat on low.
    Put mushrooms on 350' med hot grill direct for 5 min on each side. Start with cap up.
    Add filling mixture to top of mushrooms (should be cap down).
    Grill indirect for 15 minutes. Add onion slices for last couple of minutes.
    Top with provolone cheese. Continue cooking for 1 - 2 minutes until cheese begins to melt.
    I like Smoky Chipotle Pepper hot sauce doused on top !! ENJOY !!
