Use your dealer as well. They are sometimes a wealth of knowledge. Warranty stuff is also easier if they know you!XL BGE; Medium BGE; L BGE

One of the long-timers here (I don't remember who) cautioned against being in too much of a hurry to buy accessories. I echo that sentiment.
Take your time, be sure of what you need and want.
Then wait.
THEN decide.
The Gadget Industry is making heeyooge money offa rubes who get bewitched by shiny objects. Ya know what I mean?
OTOH, if you got it to blow . . .
. . . huff and puff.
And enjoy.

I just bought a large big green egg package. It came with a nest and cover which I do not need. I am selling them. Nest $125 Cover $75 Brand-new and still in the box. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks, Stephen

I bought every accessory I could find people on here talking about before my 2nd cook. Don't regret it one bit. Love having my toys and love having learned how to cook on on egg with them.My Grandfather always said practice doesn't make perfect. Only PERFECT practice makes perfect. Don't waste time learning to use something in a way you don't intend to use it long term. But, I bought some stuff I didn't need and probably wasted a couple hundred bucks.XL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum

Thermoworks for the temperature sensor of your choice and a Maverick for monitoring low and slow cooks. From there the sky is the limit.
