We were able to break in my sons new Egg yesterday with ABT's , steaks, dogs and a couple of cold ones. Later in the evening I tried the cobbler posted earlier by member @RayBones titled ultimate cobbler.
We made a couple of the, one in a cast iron skillet and one in a ceramic dish. Personally I like the cast iron results a little better but they were both really good. Here's a couple of pics!
So cool to be able to use all that trapped heat in the egg for an after dinner treat!

@NPHuskerFL, sorry no plated pics... It flew out of the pan once it was cool enough to eat.
Ya, I can't wait to try more. Blueberries are n season right now; we picked up a carton this morning at the farmers market but not enough for a desert. Maybe in the next couple of weeks.XL BGE - Med BGE - Mini BGE - Traeger Pellet GrillsHillsboro OR -

Great results on the cobbler! Love it making it with mixed berries, and a splash of rum. Of course served with vanilla ice cream tooMSV Chill Spot
