Ok, SWMBO picked up some Tri Tip 'Strips' from Costco today instead of a full tri tip. Any suggestions on how to prepare them? I usually sear the full tri tip and pull around 130 ish, but not sure if I will see the same results with the 'strips'

Marinade with something spicy and bold. Pat dry and skewer. Add a little extra kosher salt and grill quick over direct high heat. S/B a great and easy meal.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas

i like the marinade idea, maybe chunk it and marinade bulgogi style and into a hot wok, or thinner strips in terryaki sauce, terryaki on sticks.

Our fav is a spicy, ginger teriyaki. Grind it up and make burgers. Less chewing that way.

I used to slice them and marinade in teriyaki then sear on the salt block. It comes out better than cooking whole but it was work. Just get the egg hot and sear direct.
