Your opinion on good birthday present to ask for

It's my birthday soon. I am fairly new to egging. I have a large BGE, one CI pan and the AR rig. If it was you, what would you ask for to complement the egg? Nothing too expensive please - I know I would never get that. My son asked and I said a new grill mit or a bag of cedar chips, or a pizza peel. Any other suggestions?

T-pen is good, but so is the ThermoPop. $20something and just as accurate though a couple of seconds slower. If they had them when I bought my Tpen, I wouldn't have a Tpen now.http://www.thermoworks.com/products/low_cost/thermopop.htmlAlso, their Timestick at $19Their infrared gun is nice too, $39 I love mine, especially for pizza.

Thanks Everybody - some good ideas here - maybe I'll just happen to leave the computer open to this page and someone will get the hint! These are all great suggestions!! I'm thinking maybe the pigtail flipper or the ThermoPop - although I'd really like a looftlighter!

If you like Chicago Deep Dish, forget the BGE ceramic stone and ask for a $10-12 heavy duty steel cake pan from Chicago Metallic or similar. Home Goods often has them.

@NPHuskerFLWell this certainly is entertaining! Great pre-birthday humor!! Although, sadly, the mangrates will have to wait. Now I'm thinking maybe the heat gun - I'm still using the BGE starter cubes. I like them, but it takes pretty long to get things going.
