Pizza night

I had some leftover pulled pork, so I tried to duplicate a pizza from a restaurant around here called the Boudreaux.  Pulled pork, roasted garlic, red onions and spinach.  I added some mushrooms and chopped banana peppers from the garden.

For the sauce, I clipped some oregano, basil, and thyme from the garden and sauteed it with some garlic and EVOO and butter (equal parts).  Strained it through cheesecloth and used that for the pizza sauce.  It came out amazing.

(More cheese was added on top between the first and second pic)

Sorry I was a little blurry for the second pic.

Pulled pork pizza. That sounds awesome to say the least. I love pizza and pulled pork but have never thought of combining them. That is now at the top of my to do list for sure. Your pizza looks excellent my friend and thanks for the great idea.

We recently did a chicken taco pizza which was great and a Reuben pizza which is now on the menu! The Russian dressing was the sauce, corned beef or pastrami on that, Swiss cheese, then topped with kraut. After it was cooked on the egg we drizzled more Russian dressing on it. Outstanding.

Pulled pork pizza is a favorite here. Usually its just BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, and PP on top.
