I seem to recall that a few forum contributors have recently landed SRF briskets. Given I am sold (SWMBO-a whole 'nother deal), time to tell the story.  I can always use more fuel to justify the shipping charges!!

@lousubcap - isn't it always better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission?? Just sayin...

I did a SRF ham, while delicious, I enjoyed my SRF steak a lot more. I did not purchase the steak from their website, but had it at a local restaurant.

Another and last bump-seems the SRF brisket crowd has gone " submerged and undetected".   :)>-

Easily the best brisket I've ever cooked (I've cooked about 20). Second best brisket I've ever had behind only Franklin's in Austin. The point was excellent like always, but the flat was at a whole new level. Super moist and flavorful. Was even excellent as leftovers reheated in simmering water in a bag. Hell, it was good cold out of the fridge...

The biggest issue I see is that this will spoil me on future brisket cooks. Will definitely do it again in the future. The price is high, but worth it for a special occasion.

No disrespect, Just buy it!I don't get asking permission from someone to spend a few dollars. It's not like you would spent your mortgage on a Brisket.
