Next purchase to be either a CyberQ or DigiQ. I would like it to have>> pit temp, 2-3 food probes, must be reliable and would be nice if it had the option of battery operation and/or AC power. Not sure if they link to smart phone yet but, that would be cool! Folks that have a pit controller like these please chime in. My biggest hang up is I'm a tech and when I buy test equipment I always get Fluke (they are accurate down to a gnats ass and rarely fail). That said I read a lot about thermocouple probes both pit and food failures with in 3-6 months and this to me is unacceptable. So y'alls thoughts? And go.

Sorry brother, no experience with either... CyberQ seems like the way I would go. I could be wrong but it seems to be better suited for wifi/app. Did you see the post about the BBQ pit app? They mentioned the CyberQ in the post... But again, I don't have either so I'm just speaking as to which one seems to fit my interest better...

Party Q is the only one that is battery powered out of the box. I like it. Not a lot of bells and whistles. It just keeps the egg steady on overnights. Can hold temps below 200 and up to 450. Holdin below 200 is not its strong point. Batteries will last 18 hours sometimes more. I use dedicated rechargeables and it works. The partyQ paired with the maverick is a great combo for me. And the price is right!LBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

After much browsing although the WiFi connectivity of the CyberQ appeals to me the reviews state not android friendly. The DigiQ only has the pit probe and one food probe but, has great reviews (like I said would like 2-3 food probes but, reviews are questionable on CyberQ). @The Cen-Tex Smoker n tex smoker don't you have a CyberQ? @dmw will check them all out. Had no idea there were this many of them on the market. Reliability is my biggest deciding factor.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I have the digiQ and love it... Simple but can't monitor from computer. I read several reviews about the cyberQ having wifi issues. If I did it over again, would go for the wifi stoker. Good luck man

I picked up a PartyQ because I needed a controller on short notice. Dealer was out of CyberQs. I'm kind of glad because I think when I'm ready to upgrade to WiFi I want the Stoker now.They/Them

@DMW...I'm on https://www.rocksbarbque.com/Applications.html website and yep this one appears to have anything and everything I'm looking for and is easily expandable for somebody with multiple eggs. Liking the fact it'll work with android or apple products without a huge hassle. I have an android for personal phone, apple for work, SWMBO has android phone and iPad2 so I can link it several ways. Looks like a well made product with reviews supporting that too.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Yeah, I'm a geek so when I actually decide to get one I'll prob end up with probes monitoring meat in 2 places, grid in 3, and dome. Log it all and analyze till I'm crazy.NPHuskerFL said:@DMW...I'm on https://www.rocksbarbque.com/Applications.html website and yep this one appears to have anything and everything I'm looking for and is easily expandable for somebody with multiple eggs.
