Maybe an Egg cook this weekend?

Maybe, just maybe I might be able to get a cook in on the egg this weekend. Saturday in the 50's and no rain. Now to decide what. If its Saturday it will be a short lived cook - so maybe a steak, home ground burgers or similar. A chicken cook may work if I can make it taste like other than chicken.
On Sunday it is also supposed to be above 50 so I may be able to get in a longer cook. Thinking some sort of Roast - got any ideas? 6-8 hour cook?
Saw Pitmasters last week and it got me wanting ribs but I am not in the mood for traditional BBQ ribs - looking for a different flavor if I go to rib route - maybe sweet and less cumin type flavor?

I've been wanting to try a sweet rib combo. Pineapple head rub, then wrap in foil after a couple hours with dark rum, pineapple chunks, and brown sugar. Finish with a rum/ sugar reduction after the foil at the end. Haven't done it yet.They/Them

That sounds good. May have to consider that.
Any Asian style rib recipes worth looking at as well?

Well maybe turned into No Egg again this weekend. Every time I plan to use it something comes up. I should sell it and get over this hobby,
Wife tells me we have to take the kids to a birthday party (family friends) from 4-7 on Saturday.
Then they change my sons hockey game from Saturday at noon to Sunday at 3:30 - Wont get home to after 6 so ribs/slow cook is out.
more takeout on the way I guess.

Your kids will be grown in a heartbeat. The egg will last you a lifetime. Don't even think of selling it.
