Put 2 butts on 10# each.Going to do low and slow all night around 250.I need them tomorrow for lunch.Times didn't work out for turboing so I'm just going to wrap in the morning till lunch. At 250 how long do u think.

I did two 4-1/2 pounders (give or take) and they were on from 8am until 7pm @ 250. I pulled them around 185-190 but they should have probably been on another hour. They turned out good though for my first ones. Good luck!

I did two 10 pounders last week. Kept my grid at around 225 (dome around 250). They took close to 19 hours.

Given the timeframe you are working with I would probably got to 275* dome.

16 hours ...maybe. you can always get up early and check. You crutch if needed.

You were right 16 hours.Took butts off at 7 am wrapped in foil,towel and cooler till 11:30am it was still hot.I have another question.My other butt do I need to put in refrigerator right out of cooled r let it cool off first.
