Friday, Salado, St. Patty's Day Weekend & Bets...

Just about to wrap up work for the week and the weather is turning milder for at least the rest of the day. Stopped by Wegmans for a few things to cook today...
Spare ribs for this afternoon just as an excuse to sit outside by my smoking egg and pay homage to all the pilgrims who hopefully made the safe journey to Salado this weekend... I will be raising a few to you shortly
Picked up some fresh perch and will be doing them later, blackened with some veggies...
Not sure about cooks the rest of the weekend. I did take Monday off and plan on spending at least a few hours nearby in a pub...
And I finally got around to paying off a few debts / bets
@shtgunal3 and @henapple keep a eye on your mailboxes next week
Of course I will post a few pictures later on...

Ribs are looking, pretty good choice on the single malt as well.

I'm drinking Jim Beam in a can of Coke Zero (they were out of Evan Williams). I'm slummin' it so bad, SWMBO is cooking a boneless leg of lamb in the oven (she insisted). At least I got to put in a Maverick probe so it doesn't overcook.
I am wearing a paisley ascot right now, tucked around my T-shirt. That and it's Friday night, so I feel alright.
