Can anyone help with forum

I have seen several messages pop up saying "someone posted to my wall" or "private message from". What are these and where are they? I dont want people to think I am avoiding there questions but Im having areal hard time figuring out all the features of the forum. Any help welcome. Thanks in advance.

    I don't know about the wall but if you go to your profile you will find your messages.

    You should have a "notifications" button, you can click it and see where your handle was mentioned and who sent you messages.

    I am glad I saw this post. I knew about checking messages, but I had no idea of a wall. I just checked and someone had posted on my wall!

    I clicked my name on the right up under "My Profile" and it opened up a page with all of my "Reactions", etc. If you scroll down you will see any messages if you have any.
