Yep...will definitely fit.Just my $.02, but I would consider the one for $29.99 with the skillet lid. You don't need the lid to cook on the egg, but the lil skillet might come in handy.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Thanks @smokeypitt. Thought I was cursed. Whatever I buy on Amazon has the price drop a week after I buy it. Not today. My sanity is still intact.SmokeyPitt said:Yep...will definitely fit.Just my $.02, but I would consider the one for $29.99 with the skillet lid. I happen to have both so I gave it a try. The Lodge 5Qt Dutch Oven fits perfectly with the grate on the Firering. If you have the DO with the cover on, on top of the platesetter or raised grid (i.e. Felt level), then you need to push it back towards the back hinge because the Temperature gauge hits the DO if you don't. You could probably just remove the Temperature gauge since even pushed back a bit the end will be close to the Cast Iron top. Hope this helps.XL BGE; Medium BGE; L BGE

Some guys say to get the 7 qt model, if you have the large or XL. Bigger is better.Dave - Austin, TX

I would opt for this one as well. Of all of the cast iron stuff that I have collected, this one has proven the most useful -- dutch oven for stews and the like and the lid for a skillet to do up home fries etc.

I keep seeing the notes on Dutch Ovens and am having issue with my bread loaves flattening out, so I took the plunge and ordered this one.
