Sunday Cook - Holidays Over

Ah well...
With the Eagles loss last night; the holidays kind of came to a close for me. Seems like I haven't done any work in weeks, not true; but it does feel that way. The weather here sucks today with freezing rain / rain and just overcast, grey and sloppy conditions. We were supposed to take my mom out to lunch today; but the weather has messed that up...
I think instead I'm just going to do a spatchcocked bird... have an almost 7 lb bird and I'll do it raised direct at about 350-400 and start checking for temp after about an hour. Probably use some cherry & hickory for smoke. Probably just have a big salad for a side
I have a castle project that I'm supposed to help Elise with this afternoon, something to keep me busy...
With the way the holidays fell this year; this first week back is going to seem like it's 3 weeks long...

I'm sorry about the end of the holidays too.
On the Eagles note, what the hell is wrong with Eagles fans(at the game)? They continue to enforce their negative stereotype. I can't believe that they booed a player with an obvious head injury. -

All I know is that every other playoff game had problems selling out their tickets and the nfl was threatening blackout, even the storied Packers. The tickets for the Eagles tickets sold out in 3-1/2 minutes. Some of us may be ****; but we are the most loyal fans in sports.MSV Chill Spot

56 today. Rain moved in and temp down to 8 degrees tonight. -2 tomorrow night. My neighbor had his hoses still attached. I closed his crawl space vents, disconnected the hoses and wrapped the spikets. Do I have to do everything?Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN
