First batch of homemade vanilla
Got some vanilla beans in the old stocking this year so I sliced and threw them in a bottle of Russian standard I had laying around. Now the worst part is next..... Waiting.......

Try making it in Jack Daniels. I use the half pint bottles of Jack. The Mrs., who is not a drinker, likes the smell and flavor of the Jack Vanilla better than the vodka one.
