...stop by your local BGE dealer to help a friend pick out a gift for someone and get confused for an employee? Yep happens to me all the time and the store owner just laughs. Today I told him we really needed to discuss my hourly wage :-)

My dealer is extremely knowledgable with all things egg. Even so, every now and then I get an obscure call from them to help answer a question. We have agreat relationship and I am happy to help them

My dealer is a hardware store and their idea of being fully stocked of BGE products is to have a couple large and maybe an XL egg on the floor, a cover,platesetter and a few bags of lump on the shelf.
I am sure he wonders why he doesn't sell many eggs.

I have helped a few people at Wegmans when they hear how I'm planing on cooking whatever's in my cart at the time... A friend of my BIL has a large and it seems like I am messaging him on FB to help him get through just about every cook. Love it!

No, but at a BBQ fest last summer in Beaufort, SC, I pretty much sold this guy's wife on letting him buy one. I heard them discussing and shared why the BGE is awesome and she became a convert.

I haven't been to my dealer in over four years. Bought my egg then... First and only visit. I do have a cracked base and 3-piece firebox though. Wonder if he'll remember me?

One of the places listed as a dealer in Houston (some kind of fancy patio furniture store) doesn't have a single egg product in store. Walked in to check prices once, ladyhad no clue what i was talking about, said the only way i could see one was to order it first. That visit didn't last long.
