Opened a package from the Lawn Ranger and this is what I found:  Chili Pequins

I told Mike that we had lost or volunteer pequin bush last years and he sent us some from his home grown private reserve.
I will hold some aside for planting and smoke the rest.  The New Years black eyed peas will have their traditional kick. 
Where else used: Pot of pinto beans, stews tamales de pobres and salsas
