I've had several relatives ask if they could buy more "toys" for Christmas. Help me decide which to get.
1.) The Grill Grate
2.) The Grill GarteGriddle
3.) The Half Moon Cast Iron Cooking Grid and Half Moon Griddle
4.) The Half Fire Ring
5.) Any other recommendations???

Without knowing what "toys" you already possess and what size Egg/Eggs you have it's hard to recommend anything. But judging by your list I would go to www.ceramicgrillworks.com or www.ceramicgrillstore.com and look at what they have to offer.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

I guess I should have included that I have a large BGE. So far I have a plate setter, pizza stone, full sized cast iron cooking grate, wireless thermometer, looftlighter, and stainless steel vented chimney cap.

Tell me about an adjustable rig.

Here is the thread back when I got mine:

Two tier swing rack from Ceramic Grill Works.
If you like sausage get a grinder and sausage stuffer.

High que fire grate.Hows ya gettin' on, me ol ****?Kippens.Newfoundland and Labrador. (Canada).

Adjustable rig is great but fairly expensive. You have the plate setter to go indirect you need something to cook raised direct. If the adjustable rig is too much look at the woo for the large. Ceramicgrillstore.com.

How about another egg?

+1 on the two tier swing rack. http://ceramicgrillworks.com/products-page/product-category/ and the Thermapen.

#1 Thermapen as others have mentioned. If you don't have a foodsaver or other vacuum pack machine, I'd ask for one of them. Keeps food fresh and eliminates waste. Pays for itself quickly.
