When i saw the title, I had no idea what it was, but I clicked on it and before it loaded it came to me "Hot Dogs!" But what's with that red stuff. No ADULT eats hotdogs with ketchup.

The man knows his stuff - the one ingredient not on a true Coney All-The-Way is ketchup. Acid ruins the flavour of the meat.Griffin said:When i saw the title, I had no idea what it was, but I clicked on it and before it loaded it came to me "Hot Dogs!" But what's with that red stuff. I've no idea what the French position is on the matter.

Cool little device there!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada -
The French would probably use some of that $22 a bottle of mustard that @Village_Idiot used on his chicken the other day.

So how many dogs will that thing cook at one time? Interesting device. Don't think I've ever seen anything like it. How old is it? I assume it steams the bun as well?

+1 @griffin it's a crime against nature to put ketchup on a hot dog. Mustard, chili and onions- Man I want one now- or maybe 5Greensboro, NC

Truly the pinnacle of solo hotdog appliance design. Steams the bun and the dog at the same time. Sadly forgotten by modern society with the rise of the microwave. I burned up my original by leaving it plugged in too long. This one I will be much more careful with.
I like to fill it with beer from time to time. Preferably Schlitz.

I like ketchup on hotdogs. Mustard too. Sometimes even together!Am I the only one that thought a "Coney Island Steamer" was something completely different? (Public Service Announcement- Do NOT Google "Coney Island Steamer") Some things can not be unseen.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

This is what got me thinking initially. Then I thought that if 2 people brought it up, must be something to it. Serves me right for trying to think.sumoconnell said:+1 @caliking. sport peppers, relish, pickle spear, mustard + poppy seed bun + "vienna beef" - aka mystery meat.@fearlesstheeggnoob - That still looks good.I have a completely different use of the term "Coney Island steamer".
