Any Grilled Romaine tips?

I have a couple of romaine lettuce bunches I would like to grill. I have never seen this done and don't have a recipe. Can someone help me out with a basic method for doing this?

Olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder is how I do it. Cut longways and cook it direct until the tips start to burn. I sprinkle lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and white wine vinegar on it after it cools and I've cut it. Oh and Geaux Tigas!!!

I barely cook it...just until it starts to wilt, and gets grill marks, but still has crunchy texture

When I did this a while back, I used what IMHO is the most versatile marinade and sauce on the market. Italian Dressing- Just cut the romaine in half, slathered it on, and grilled very hot. Here is a little write up-

I put caesar dressing on the cut side and let grill until starting to char - then flip and sprinkle the cheese on - let it cook until cheese melted - not very long

I do mine by cutting longways, drizzling with evoo, then grilling cut side down untill tips start to char, turn, sprinkle with bacon bits, and chunky bleu cheese, you can also add tomato if you like.

Thanks for the advice guys. I went simple: EVOO, S&P, parm and lemon juice. It looks like I have a few more ways to try in the future.
