if anyones caught that bbq show, is he trying to break that egg, he doesnt just drop the dome, he almost looks like he is slamming it.....must be nice to get free eggs

    OK, OK, I know this is the FoodNetwork's doing and not Bobby Flay's, but every time he calls it the "Big Green ceramic cooker", it kills me. Talk about disrespect! In the latest season, they even replaced the BGE handle with a generic wooden one. You guys are right, he doesn't give the Egg the respect it deserves.

    Let me start by saying that I'm not a huge fan of Bobby Flay's - although I do have one of his cookbooks.  It's a cherished present from my girlfriend, as she knows how much I love to watch Iron Chef America (I'm a Michael Symon fan).  Having said that, I'd sure love to try his food sometime...

    I look at this from a slightly different perspective ... in today's day and age of corporate sponsorship and what I can only surmised are exorbitant fees to promote one's product with an iron chef ... I'm surprised they even allow a BGE on the set. 

    In my mind, calling it whatever he chooses to call it ... he must love that thing an awful lot to even let it see the light of day.
