We'll, it happened. The firebox cracked. Light clean burn last night with the placesetter in. Not really hot.. Just a small amount of lump.
Questions.
Does the factory include in the original price the seemingly strong possibility of warranty issues?
Do other kamados have these problems on the same scale?

I would venture to guess yes and yes. Nature of ceramics.The ones that don't probably don't have lifetime guarantees.
