I bought 5 racks two weeks ago and I cut them all in half. Bad move! When they get cut in half they don't fit in the rib rack right at all. I think your set up is fine. My future is going to have a swing rack. That'll do the trick I thinkLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

I did 5 racks of baby back ribs yesterday on XLg. I used two tiers, so there were three layers of ribs laying flat.

Thanks for the comments. I haven't been too successful with ribs but these came out pretty good. I was distracted and my temp was all over the place. My next go round will be better as I have learned from this trial. I still need to figure out how to fit four or more racks.Born and raised in NOLA. Now live in East TN.

I have done 8 on the LBGE before I had 6 baby backs in the rib rack then criss crossed 2 over the top of the ribs on the rack.
