A couple cooks from last weekend

Finally getting around to posting the pics from last weekends cooks with some friends over.  Did a spatchcocked chicken with some skillet green beans.  On the beans I cooked up some bacon and mushrooms, added the beans, and finished by reducing some balsalmic vinegar in the skillet.  Used a mix of cherry and pecan for smoke.

Followed up the next day with some rib-eyes and skillet potatoes and parsnips.  Two of the rib-eyes were marinated, two were just salt and pepper and I did a reverse sear.  Used a mix of hickory and cherry for smoke.  Also added some spanish chorizo to the potatoes - this is one of my favorite dishes to do in the CI skillet.

Please excuse the lack of pictures and somewhat blurriness.  The food doesn't sit around long after cooking and in staying well hydrated during cooks, my hands aren't so steady.
