Picking up Saturday after the egg fest. Mini has been my only egg wondering if I will be in for any surprises for use.
Will I have lump shock? Not sure how much larges consume...
CGS is out of AR at the moment, was thinking a woo to start since i get a plate setter and extender from the group buy , and i can always sell if i want to upgrade to a rig later.
On to bigger and better things I guess.

Nice comboSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Congrats. Lump consumption will be minimal, compared to a Weber

Skinny congrats on the new large. I did the polar opposite, had a large moved and orphaned it at the in-laws. Ended up getting a mini because of my withdrawals.

High Five!! Welcome to the club. There might be some issues with temperature adjustment, but you'll figure it out pretty quickly.

When you pick up your large, I'm sure another multi-egg member or "Eggshead" will hand you a beer and show you the secret handshake. Congrats!Flint, Michigan

Welcome and congrats-please make sure the used lump is removed from your BGE before loading and transporting. There have been stories of BGE restarts on the way to their new home.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Welcome and congrats.

You get to do low-n-slows now, and you'll be surprised at how efficient a "real" BGE is. No offense to the mini-lovers, but the unattended 18 hour cooks on one load of lump aren't happening on the mini.
