Geez.. it's like the season ending finale... and having to wait for the next season opener.... Until then, know you are not alone.... *alone with CT, that is*
Been in that place Chubbs.. pretty much every weekend since I bought the Egg... inviting over people for Saturday, and spending Sunday sheepishly cleaning up and apologizing ALOT...
(flowers don't help as much as they should)
And the worst...wondering if SWMBO has found about next Saturday yet, or if I should stick to the "don't ask for permission, beg for forgiveness" reasoning........it's a vicious cycle.
However... I always, always, always, remove the empty Fat Tire bottle from the shower. Always. (Watch more CSI... it's called evidence.)
I have little concern... you have the cooking chops to carry you through the haziest of haze. If the city doesn't like your food....send them to McDonald's for a McRib. Then... find a recliner with some more Woodford. All's well.

Well dinner turned out well somehow. Burnt ends were amazing. I give them an A. The flat was better than my previous 10 but still not as moist as I am looking for. Give it a B-. Corn and green beans to accompany. Anyone can cook that but they were good. Pics later.

Great thread Chubbs. This holiday weekend I'll be venturing into my own haze induced brisket as well.

I choose booze, and did chicken abt's. After a weekend of hard work (on the egg), I needed some thing simpler and fast for the booze to flow more freely. Hiccup.
