My dealer cut me a deal on the Mini that I just could not pass up. $350.00 w/nest. Was wondering If I should get the plate setter to got with it? What other accessories do you recommend?
Hope this is reason enought to get out of the a$$ chewin X_X

You are going to love your mini! I bought mine as a back-up for when we cook away from home, but the back is not willing to lift the small. I thought it would be a fun little toy to play with. It is fun (as all eggs are), but it is a killer grill, not a kiddie toy. Its not the back-up anymore. It's a go-to starter!

Mini is amazing. I have the large and medium as well but use the mini the most. Just ordered an Egg Carten. As far as the plate setter does your Mini have the new fire ring? The plate setter is designed for the newest one so check on that first.

Skip the plate setter (IMO). Get a Mini Woo, the set of pizza stones from Amazon, the Lodge griddle from Mission Restaurant Supply, 10" Wok from Ms Chain at The Wok Shop. The a$$ chewin ended when I saw the picture of you ^:)^ your a big guy. Anything I can help with just send a note. I have 2 Larges and use my Mini 80+% of the time.

If I read correctly from a previous post the plate setter comes with a fire ring also. I'd give it a try.

@Chubbs Maybe if you throw yourself on the floor and cry. Just saying, never had anyone try that on a car with me. Might work. He sure wont if you don't ask.

+1 on the accessories that @Mickey recommended. You can do raised direct with the mini woo; great for chicken thighs and breasts.

    Mickey,

Mission shows several Lodge griddles that might fit the Mini. Which one do you suggest?

    Thanks, Springram

@Mickey - we're coming to you for our next car and I'm going to try that! ;)

Back on topic, you will love the Mini. We use it more than the large. Get the woo and two pizza stones to start off with and you are set.

I sure wish the city would upgrade our computers here ( I work for a city). Running an old version of explorer that won't show videos on this website. Got a link for that video I can click on?
