It's on managers special at my Kroger. We usually buy a side of beef but have just ran out and will be 7 months before we go to slaughter._______________________________________________XLBGE

We don't get "chuck" here but the cross-rib, blade and shoulder roasts (which are part of the chuck) are generally the cheapest cut of beef. Anywhere from $1.99 on sale to $3.99 full price

It's around $4/# at the grocery stores. I can't remember Costco's price though; i't been awhile since I have bought one from them(Or a chuck in general)

Chuck roast's normal price runs $3.69 a pound(average) and sale price drops down to $2.89 or $2.99 a pound. Costco's normal price here is about $3.29 a pound but very good product!
