Hey guys. There has been a few of us in the Mississippi Alabama region that would be interested in an eggfest more central Ms, Al, Tn located.
Could you please comment if your interested. If enough people sign up I'll keep working on planning something. I'm currently looking for a venue.

You will need a BGE store to sponsor your fest as well...good luck as they are a lot of fun...there are or have been several fests in your area already...

I'm in. I am pretty sure my buddy @MemphisBBQ and a couple more Egghead friends will make it as well.-Jody Newell (LBGE & a 36" Blackstone griddle).

As for location, Nashville, TN would be a central location for many of us and there are plenty of places to stay and things to do.-Jody Newell (LBGE & a 36" Blackstone griddle).

I'm near Nashville, sounds good to me.

I'd pick a quiet location like Salado. Easy to get around. A good dealer would help...i know Mickey sold all the demo eggs plus 4 more. That should interest a dealer. Keep it laid back and fun. There's the alcohol issue...finding a public place that will allow it. I'd spend some time talking to Mickey or Plano...they've done them. If you had it in Murfreesboro I'd invest the time to help out getting it kick started...will do what i can to help anywhere.
Oh...have an after party or the day before for the cooks to hang out.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN -
I'll show up for a Nashville event, or anything close enough. Just an excuse to get away!

Not only a dealer has to be in 100% but the Distributor has to be on board as well.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I agree @henapple a smaller town could possibly be better. I have a dealer friend, not sure about the whole eggfest this year.
Just see if a few people in our area would be interested in a get together._______________________________________________XLBGE -
Count me as interested, I am in South Alabama, close to Mobile.

Maybe this year we could just meet up and have a pow wow to plan for a bigger fest. Hell,if there's only 20 of us finding a spot should be easy. If we could get a few eggs and kegs together we're bound to come up with something. Keep the train rolling. When i get home I'll look for a few egging spots.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. @henapple
That's exactly what I'm talking about. I'm good for traveling with my egg. A camp ground might work._______________________________________________XLBGE -

MrCookingNurse that is the story of Salado. I was talking to Spring Chicken and LawnRanger at first trying to see if we could get 20 people to-gather for a Mini (real Minis, not meaning small) Gathering. Just come and bring your Mini. Near 400 people was never a thought. Year one was over a 150 with a store and Distributer kick in. Year two near 275/300 and last Sat at 350. My one thing I held on to was it would be free to everybody who came. Best of luck to you and hang on to henapple.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). This is an interesting thread because @Owossoegger is putting together a farmers market cook. I said I would help and cook. We hope this will attract Eggheads to join us. Could be the beginning of a Michigan EggFest!Flint, Michigan

Gulf Shores, Al, I would be interested !
Redneck Riviera, Gulf Shores, Alabama -
I'm basically in Atlanta and would be willing to take a drive.
LBGEGo Dawgs! - Marietta, GA -
So for our first go around, who can travel with egg?? I can bring a small and a large. Also would y'all wanna shoot for may or fall? I think a campground would work good too. See if we can get reserved spots close to each other an walk around and eat and talk. Or use the pavilion at a camp ground_______________________________________________XLBGE

I would be in too if planned way ahead. Chattanooga? by the river?
