Did a green pepper and onion pie along with a pepperoni pie , picked up a 6pound block of mozzarella cheese today and shredded it . made a huge difference in taste . think it was the best tasting pies to date .Both done on the XL BGE with a dome temp of 550

Oh yeah, shredding your own cheese is the way to go. Store bought pre shredded is not as good.

Cheaper overall too. There is also no additives that inhibit melting(I'm looking at you, preshredded mozzarella)
