Sunday cook, and rain...or snow???
Well, rain all day Saturday, melting snow, and I wake up and head to the front deck for a coffee this morning to see we had a foot of heavy snow over night, poor trees are hurting today. So after 4 hours of plowing neighbors and my drive way, it’s time to think of something for dinner. I have a smoked ham here that I think I will heat up on the egg. Probably do a glaze, puree some pineapple, and mix with some brown sugar and honey. Quick meal tonight. Food pics to follow… I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Getting a little tired of it, have not had any in a while, but when you have a great week, and can feel the spring coming, a foot over night does not make you smile. Just waiting for some summer cooking is all.County of Parkland, Alberta, Canada

My place looked like that a few days ago. The trees aren't so burdened now but still cold. Nice view though

Thanks Little Steven, love it out here.
Pureed pinapple, brown sugar, honey, apple cider v, and dijon mustard, could be an interesting glaze...tastes good so far though, might need to add some more brown sugar. Doing some scalloped potatos with it as well, tried to talk her into putting that on the egg to bake, but I need a raised 2 tier grill for that if the ham is on at same time. (I was putting out a pretty big hint to her on that one...)!

20 min South West of Edmonton, area called Pine Valley, just 5 min NW from the small town of Devon, great area. kiinda cheating tonight doing the already smoked ham, but it was a busy weekend around here (had 20 gals here with the wife for a party yesterday, they brought so much food and drinks I was not "allowed" to egg yesterday). Some heat from the egg and some glaze is still worth it... Where are you at again Little Steven?County of Parkland, Alberta, Canada

Well, not the best looking cook again, but sure was tasty (and easy). the glaze turned out great and was a hit with the little ones. i simmered it and used it to pour on the ham after sliced as well. cucs in some vin for the side, and scalloped potatoes...was a nice easy one for this Sunday. to many people, and to much rum...this guy is hitting the fart sack...County of Parkland, Alberta, Canada
