Chili too salty

I just started a batch of chili and made the mistake of using too much salt. I'm hoping there's a way to salvage it without having to double the batch. I've heard about adding a couple of potatoes to absorb some of the salt.
I thought if anyone would know it would be this group. Any other ideas out there?
Thanks!

The potato idea is the only one I'm aware of, good luck!_____________

I don't know if I'd double it. You might just end up with twice as much salty chili. Potatoes help but they won't work miracles. Good luck. We've all been there.XLBGE, LBGE, MBGE, SMALL, MINI, 2 Kubs, Fire Magic Gasser

Thanks for the the replys. After cooking for a while it seems that it mellowed out a bit. I'll know better next time.
