The wife has brought home this 3.0lb bone in pork oven roast that I have never attempted on the BGE. I'm thinking indirect around 350 to about 145 IT and then maybe a quick sear? Any suggestions w rub, temp, etc is always appreciated.

Here are two that I have done.
This one was a Colombian recipe, Bone In Pork Loin with Caramel sauce.
The post includes a time and temp chart from that cook but basically it was starting off low at 250 and brought up the heat at the end.
This one was just a bone in pork roast that I threw together a few years ago.

Thanks Nibble, good info. Will let the wife decide on which one.

I marinate them overnight, then do at 400 either direct or indirect. One cooks a little slower but either way work well.

Thanks Doc, any suggestions on marinade and rub?

I like Dichicko's Garlic or Allegro Hot & Spicy for marinade, and Traeger Sweet Rub.
The pics were Dichicko's.

Search for "rack of pork". This something Costco carries seasonally and has been posted about numerous times.
3lb sounds like it's either a very small one, or only around 4 bones worth. 350F indirect to 145F with your favorite BBQ rub will work.

I did one from Costco last year and the neighbors still rave about it. Bone sucking good.XL, large and small. Hartwell GA on beautiful Lake Hartwell.

Started off at 300 dome for an hour or so then bumped it up to 350 and went to 145 IT, wrapped in foil for 15 and it turned out great !! Thanks for all the suggestions.
