Camping with the BGE

Campin' eggers use both.
I chose the small. More versatile and a smokey joe is much cheaper than a mini.
Cannot justify the almost $400 price tag on a 10" direct grill. I'm a white trash egger from the hood though. lol
Build your own transporting table for the small and you are set.
Secure to tailgate or picnic table with a braided Kryptonite cable and padlock for a little sense of security when away from the campground... won't deter the determined.

$400 ? wow, I was at my local dealer today and they had minis in nest/stand for $199. I was looking for a small but they don't stock them.

My Small
-
I camp several times a year and since buying my large I've thought a mini or small for camping. Just trying o convince myself worth cost over a smokey joe by weber considering how often I'd use and what I could spend the diff on. But it is tempting.Boom

Here are pics of the table in action (super nice Canadian eggers in the first pic).
3/4" birch, 2x4s, exterior gloss paint, and a couple of split split firebricks.
FOF,
At home, the small has become my "go to" egg.
A large/small combo is hard to beat.
